ANN GEEHAN
Chair

Ann has been associated with the labour movement in Newfoundland for 34 years. She is currently president of Local Union 2330 of the IBEW and has been in that position since 1986.  Local Union 2330 has 1000 members-Journeypersons and Apprentices. 

 At present, she takes the lead in all training programs for the IBEW, Local 2330 membership to upgrade their skills in this competitive world of skilled trades.  Further, she plays a lead role in dispatching and securing employment for members to work provincially, nationally and internationally.

Ann has influenced many organizations through her extensive board experience. She is currently:

• Chairperson of the Executive Board of Local Union 2330, IBEW
• Executive Board member and Vice President, Affiliate for The Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour
•  A member of the Education Committee of the Newfoundland Federation of Labour
•  A member of the current Provincial Apprenticeship and Certification Board. 

Further, she serves as a Committee member of the Association of Building Trades Educational Colleges; and is a trustee on The Health and Welfare and Pension Trust Funds for Local 2330, IBEW.
