SCHEDULE
TECHSPLORATION CAREER RESEARCH MODEL
(February - April)
Each team, which includes six girls, a teacher, and a female role model, will be assigned a trades or technology occupation to research. They will be introduced to a career planning model they can continue to use throughout their lives. The research component includes an interview with a female role model and a worksite tour.
TECHSPLORERS EVENT
(May)
The teams come together for a full day of activities. They each deliver an interactive presentation on the career assigned to them, participate in workshops that are hosted by the role models, and make projects to take home.
TECHSPLORATION GOES TO SCHOOL
(May/June)
Each team may deliver their conference day presentation at their host school. They introduce their role model and may invite other role models and guests from the community to attend.
