Our Goals

Women in Resource Development Committee (WRDC) was developed to bring women into the picture. WRDC accomplishes this by:

• Influencing public policy regarding women's roles in the development of natural resources.
• Ensuring gender-based analysis and planning within government, industry and post-secondary institutions.
• Providing technical support in program design, project formulation and group mentoring, as well as partnership development with women's groups.
• Improving women's access to training and trades, technology and operations.
• Promoting research on issues related to women and the natural resource sector.
